Privacy PolicyCookies and other technologies
Cookies are small pieces of data stored in the browser and transmitted in requests to the relevant domain. LocalStorage keeps values in the browser without automatically transmitting them with every request. Both technologies can remember preferences or support other functions: the purpose, not only the technology's name, determines the applicable treatment.
What is used today
The website uses the technical language preference storage described below. Google Analytics 4 and Meta Pixel are inactive and are not loaded. CookieConsent is not yet installed, so there is no consent cookie or panel for managing optional categories. You do not need to accept advertising cookies to browse or open a booking on Slope.
Language preference
The la-rocca-locale entry is saved in this website's localStorage when you choose a language or confirm that you wish to continue in Italian. It remembers that choice and avoids repeating the language suggestion. The browser's language may be read to suggest English, but this does not send the preference to an external analytics service. Storage is used solely for the requested functionality, not for profiling or advertising.
Lifetime: no automatic expiry is set. The value remains until replaced by a new choice or until you or your browser clear website data. Scope: localStorage of the visited origin; it is not a cookie automatically sent to the server. You can remove it through browser settings without losing access to pages.
Hosting and external services
Cloudflare Pages serves pages, images and fonts. Hosting alone does not imply activation of advertising cookies or Cloudflare Web Analytics. No server-set cookies were detected in responses from pages checked on the revision date. Maps, Slope, Instagram, WhatsApp and reviews are external links, not embedded widgets: any tracking technologies they use are described in the respective services' notices when you visit them.
Analytics · Google Analytics 4
Planned, not active. GA4 may be used for statistics on visits and interactions, only after consent to Analytics. The website currently installs no GA4 cookies. Before activation, we will publish the actual inventory of cookies and identifiers with purposes, domains and lifetimes: provider defaults are not an inventory of our website.
Advertising · Meta Pixel
Planned, not active. Meta Pixel may be used to measure Facebook and Instagram campaigns. Advertising will be separate from Analytics: authorising GA4 will not automatically authorise Meta Pixel. The website currently installs no cookies through Meta Pixel. Any identifiers, additional purposes and lifetimes will be described before activation, based on the actual configuration.
Choosing and changing preferences
Before optional services are activated, CookieConsent will be set up to let you accept, refuse or choose categories separately. Tags will remain blocked until the relevant consent is given, and a control will allow you to change or withdraw it. These categories are currently inactive: there is no consent to give or withdraw for GA4 and Meta Pixel. You can already manage language storage by clearing website data in browser settings.
Clearing browser data may remove saved preferences. It does not automatically erase information already transmitted to a provider; for personal data, you can exercise your rights using the contacts in the Privacy Policy. Simply reading this notice does not constitute consent.
